Fig Pie Spicy With Ouzo 200gr
Extra spicy result of the traditional, handmade, Corfiot dish. It is a paste from dried figs, marinated in red wine, and flavored with Ouzo LAZARIS, anise, fennel seeds, and black pepper. The more peppery effect pairs well with tsipouro or ouzo. It is deliciously combined with cheese and sausages and can be added as an ingredient in green salads.
Traditional Corfiot dish made from a paste of dried figs, marinated in red wine, and flavored with Ouzo LAZARIS, anise, fennel seeds and black pepper. With respect to the traditional recipe, we replaced ouzo with Lazaris Kumquat liqueur, or with brandy and chocolate. Its spicy taste fits exceptionally with distillates such as tsipouro, ouzo, grappa, brandy. Can be added perfectly as ingredient in green salads or combined with soft goat cheese and cold cuts.
The products are produced in facilities that handle eggs, nuts, and sesame.
