# Cloudflare DNS Configuration

**What it does:** Allows your addon domain to work correctly when using Cloudflare's proxy service (orange cloud).

**Before you start:** Make sure your domain is added to Cloudflare and pointing to your server.

## Steps

1) Log in to your Cloudflare account at `cloudflare.com`
2) Select your domain from the list
3) Click on the **DNS** tab in the left menu
4) Find or add an **A record** for your domain
5) Set the **Name** to `@` (or your subdomain)
6) Set the **IPv4 address** to your server IP (the one shown in the configuration message)
7) Toggle the **Proxy status** to **Proxied** (orange cloud icon)
8) Click **Save**

**Tip:** The orange cloud means Cloudflare is protecting your site. Our system now automatically detects this and accepts it as valid.

**Common mistake:** Don't turn off the proxy (grey cloud) - our system works with Cloudflare enabled.

**Done:** That's it — your domain will be verified within 5 minutes!
